We Believe
The Bible is the inspired word of God. The Old and New Testaments are inerrant and infallible in the original manuscripts and the supreme and final authority in matters of faith and life.
(2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 1 Corinthians 2:13)
The Eternal Godhead, eternally existent in three persons–Father, Son and Holy Spirit—and that He created everything out of nothing.
(Genesis 1:1; John 10:30; 4:24; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
The Eternal Son of God became incarnate in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is fully God and fully man, having been born of the virgin Mary, totally without sin, the One who died on the cross for the sins of the world, was buried, rose from the dead on the third day and ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven where He now intercedes for us who believe in Him.
(John 1:1,14,18; Matthew 1:21-23; Hebrews 1:6-8; 1 John 5:20, 1 Timothy 2:5)
(Hebrews 4:15, 7:26; 1 Corinthians 15:3; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 2:9)
(John 19:40-42, 2:19; Mark 16:19; Acts 7:56; 1 Timothy 2:5)
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead, who regenerates, indwells, baptizes and seals all true believers in Christ and fills those yielded to Him.
(Matthew 28:19, John 1:13, 3:3-6; Titus 3:5; 1 Corinthians 2:12, 6:19; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 4:30)
The Total Depravity of Man
Man was created in the image and likeness of God, but in Adam all mankind fell into sin with the result that all humanity is lost and born with a sinful nature, hopelessly incapable of salvation through any human merit or performance and can only be saved by a personal faith in the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(Genesis 1:27, 9:6; John 3:16-19; 5:24; Romans 3:10,23, 5:8-9, 12; Ephesians 2:1, 8-10; Titus 3:5)
Angels were originally created holy but now exist as unfallen and fallen, including Satan.
(Colossians 1:16; Nehemiah 9:6; Psalm 143:2-5; Jude 6; Matthew 25:41; Revelation. 12:9; Ephesians. 6:11-12)
Satan is a fallen angel, the author of sin, and the cause of the fall of mankind. He is the open and declared enemy of God and man. Satan along with his fallen angels, demons, and evil spirits are destined to be eternally punished in the Lake of Fire, and now seeks to deceive the world, defeat the believers and destroy the work of God, but can be resisted by believers who are protected by the Holy Spirit and the intercession of Jesus Christ our Lord.
(Genesis 3:1; Job 1:6-12; Isaiah 14:12-17; Matthew 4:1-11, 25:41; Luke 22:31-32; 1 John 4:4; Revelation 20:10)
The Nation of Israel has a special place in God’s plan both past, present and future and that all of the promises of God to Israel will be fulfilled both now and at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ to establish His millennium reign.
(Genesis 12:3; Psalm 122:1)
Evangelism is the obligation of the saved to witness by word and by deed to the truths of Holy Scripture and to seek to proclaim the gospel to all mankind.
(Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8; 2 Corinthians 5:19-20)
Eternal Rewards await Christians in the Messianic Kingdom and eternity for a life of faithful and obedient service to our Lord and to a testimony of holiness in the power of the Holy Spirit, which service includes the propagation of the Gospel message to the whole world.
(Matthew 6:19-21; Luke 19:11-27; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 3:12-15; 2 Corinthians 5:9-11; Colossians 3:23-24; 1 John 2:28; 2 John 8; Rev. 22:12)
Heaven is a literal place where believers will dwell forever, and hell is a literal place of torment where unbelievers will reside forever.
(John 14:1-3; Revelation 20:11-15; Revelation 21:8; Revelation 22:5)
